Job Overview:

The IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure to ensure seamless data flow between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems.

  • Develop and implement large-scale production network deployment strategies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless solutions.
  • Manage and optimize wired and wireless network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, low latency, redundancy, and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network infrastructure with business objectives and operational needs.
  • Lead the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network hardware and software, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Develop and implement network security policies and controls in alignment with organizational standards.
  • Ensure network scalability to support future production needs and business growth.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and compliance with network management standards and protocols.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in designing and managing large-scale production network deployments.
  • Strong knowledge of network security practices and protocols.
  • Experience in implementing OT/IT network integration and managing both wired and wireless network infrastructure.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting network issues and implementing solutions in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and drive continuous improvements in network performance.
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
