Fashion Data Annotator

Job Description

At our fashion-tech start-up, we are revolutionizing the way people search and shop online. To achieve this mission, we need to create a comprehensive library of images annotated with specific details about each item. This involves visually examining fashion items, including apparel and accessories, to identify attributes such as category, fit, colour, pattern, material, and silhouette.

Our goal is to build a high-functioning team that can annotate our image catalogue at an exceptional velocity and accuracy rate. The ideal candidate will be able to review images, identify and document specific attributes, mask individual items within the image, and assign relevant tags to each identified object.

The core responsibilities of this role include:

  • Reviewing images containing one or more fashion items and identifying specific attributes
  • Documenting pre-defined attributes described in a guide
  • Masking individual items within the image and assigning relevant tags

Key skills and knowledge required for this position include:

  • Understanding a visual and written rule set detailing our taxonomy
  • Visually assessing individual fashion apparel and accessory items to identify attributes and capture them in a provided tool
  • Using a basic annotation tool and maintaining attention to detail to ensure accurate annotation

We provide comprehensive training on our annotation guide, processes, and tools to ensure your success in this role. As a remote worker, you will have flexibility while working with a standard schedule from 14:00 - 23:00 IST (08:30 am - 17:30 GMT), Monday to Friday.
