- Primary responsibilities include achieving targeted sales numbers, managing key strategic accounts, and ensuring alignment with regional sales objectives.
- Responsibilities also encompass presenting and demonstrating scientific workflows to customers, troubleshooting queries, and handling customer interactions.
- The ideal candidate will possess expertise in molecular, cellular, and protein workflows, as well as experience with imaging, flow cytometry, immunoassays, and western blotting techniques.
- Strong team management attributes and ability to work collaboratively are essential for success in this role.
- Additional responsibilities include analyzing sales reports, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance product line performance.
- Collecting tender information, pitching relevant tenders, and maintaining a record of regional wins and losses are critical components of this position.
- Training internal teams and channel partners on scientific workflows and conducting presentations at conferences, seminars, and product launch events are also key responsibilities.
- Excellent sales acumen and advanced knowledge of life sciences workflows are mandatory.
- A Master's or Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, coupled with a strong understanding of sophisticated life sciences workflows, is highly desirable.
- At least 5-6 years of customer-facing experience as an Application Specialist, Product Specialist, or Product Manager is required.
- Flexibility to travel up to 70% of the time is necessary for success in this role.
