High Performance Computing Specialist

Welcome to this exciting opportunity as a High Performance Computing Specialist. In this role, you will be designing, building, and supporting high-performance computing infrastructure for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI infrastructure requirements and be able to design and deploy solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate current AI infrastructure requirements and forecast future growth
  • Design, deploy, and support AI infrastructure, including CPU, GPU, middleware, and orchestration tools
  • Configure and manage parallel file systems (PFS) and network file systems (NFS)
  • Install and configure libraries and compilers
  • Deploy and manage monitoring and observability tools for AI clusters
  • Manage networks and troubleshoot InfiniBand, ROCE, UFM, NETQ, and other tools

The successful candidate will also have expertise in cloud infrastructure management, including AWS and GCP, as well as knowledge of cloud bursting techniques and Kubernetes installation and configuration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in operating systems (Linux)
  • Proficiency in programming languages (C, C++, bash, Python)
  • Schedulers and resource management experience
  • Cluster management expertise
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix, Gangalia)
  • Experience with compilers and libraries (GNU, Intel, OpenMPI, Cuda, MPI)
  • Networking expertise (InfiniBand/ROCE/UFM/Ethernet/DPU)
  • Parallel programming skills (OpenMPI, MPI)
