Backend Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Backend Infrastructure Specialist to build the backend foundation of our system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement low-latency APIs and real-time services for instant transactions, swaps, and approvals.
  • Own backend integrations with various partners.
  • Develop a resilient ledger and state machine for secure money movement.
  • Implement a policy engine for approval, caps, timelocks, and joint accounts.
  • Ensure high performance, reliability, and observability across production systems.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in building scalable backend systems.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/Node, Go, Rust, or Kotlin programming languages.
  • Experience with asynchronous I/O, queues, retries, and state machines.
  • Database expertise in Postgres and Redis, with knowledge of data modeling for consistency.
  • Proven track record of owning systems end-to-end from design to production.
  • Bonus: experience with crypto custody/MPC, Bitcoin UTXOs, or fintech/payment systems is an added advantage.
