Job Title: Process Excellence Specialist

Overview:

Elevate the quality standards in fabrication, welding, and painting activities for Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) by adhering to company procedures, client requirements, and relevant codes/standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect raw materials, fabricated components, and finished structures as per drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks for welding, bolting, cutting, and assembly processes in line with PEB standards.
  • Carry out dimensional inspection of built-up sections, secondary members, and assemblies.
  • Monitor surface preparation, blasting, and painting/coating quality as per required standards.
  • Prepare inspection reports and ensure traceability of materials.
  • Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and client specifications.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in the quality management system.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in fabrication and erection processes for PEB structures.
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, SAW, MIG, etc.).
  • Understanding of painting and coating standards.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Quality Control in PEB / Steel Structure fabrication industry.
