Job Summary

This role drives the development and implementation of HR strategy for a set of teams within the ADCI MAA 12 SEZ organization in India. The successful candidate will support senior business leaders and lead people charters for various teams within Devices and Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Focus on organizational design and effectiveness, talent management, rewards/recognition, workforce planning, employee development, and engagement.
  • Contribute to business strategy and translate business priorities into a long-term HR charter.
  • Help business leaders look around corners through data-driven innovative recommendations for new initiatives and iterate on current programs to improve team performance, retention, and the employee experience.
  • Coordinate with other teams within HR/Amazon and spearhead and participate in cross-group and India-wide projects.
  • Play the role of a trusted advisor and collaborate extensively with global HR and business stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in an HR generalist leadership role evidencing strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions to integrate HR and business strategies.
  • Proven ability to diagnose issues, drawing on both professional experience and strategic thinking skills, and drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative.
  • Not hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.
  • Analytical skills, including the understanding of metrics to support plans and monitor performance.
  • High-quality document preparation and presentation skills; facilitation skills.
  • Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization.
  • Experience in coaching senior leaders and managers.
  • Talent assessment skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of both business and HR teams.
  • Experience working with global teams, including driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans.
