Job Description

This is a long-term contract role for full-time work and will be done remotely. The role requires self-learning and the ability to research unknown topics. Availability is needed during US business hours.

  • Work with business teams to troubleshoot and solve accounting issues
  • Understand accounting requirements for workflows, transaction definitions, and other configurations
  • Understand integration and reporting requirements for various applications and connection points

The role involves managing and maintaining software, creating and managing workflows, building and managing Chart of Accounts & Transaction Definitions, providing support for financial/accounting operations, troubleshooting system issues, and optimizing system performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Deep experience in designing and configuring the Intacct platform
  • 7+ years of experience with Sage Intacct
  • 5+ years in a Sage design, configuration, and implementation role
  • 8+ years of experience in accounting specialist roles
  • Experience working with other enterprise applications - HR, ERP, CRM
  • Sage Intacct software management and support skills
  • Financial operations experience
  • System troubleshooting and optimization skills
  • Reporting & Analytics proficiency
  • Software development knowledge
  • Experience in IT governance and project delivery
