Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Freelance SAS Modeler to join our team of skilled developers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in SAS modeling and analytics.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Develop, validate, and maintain statistical/predictive models using SAS and Python programming languages.
    • Migrate SAS workflows to optimized Python equivalents.
    • Create data-driven frameworks for model performance monitoring.
    • Guide team members on coding best practices and data analysis techniques.

Requirements:

  • Expert-level skills in Base SAS, SAS/STAT, Enterprise Miner, Visual Analytics, PROC SQL, and macros.
  • Strong expertise in pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn, and PySpark (bonus).
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical concepts, including regression, forecasting, clustering, classification, A/B testing, and causal inference.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale software transitions.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and deliver high-impact results.
