About the Role:

This role plays a crucial part in our organization's goal to manufacture high-quality products by leading the design and development team for technology in various formats of battery cells.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain adequate inventories of raw materials, assembly materials, PPEs, and consumables in the shop floor as per production plan.
  • Issue materials from various warehouses to production using materials handling equipment such as RGV, AGV, Forklifts, BOPTs, HOPTs, Stalkers, and Conveyors.
  • Allocate manpower for Kitting/De-Palletizing, Palletising Packing, Materials issues, Internal Scrap movement, etc.
  • Ensure zero stock variance through stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and variance analysis.
  • Move various scrap (Hazardous and non-Hazardous) to designated areas.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as production planning, process, maintenance, quality, IT contractors, and SCM to ensure business requirements are fulfilled.
  • Ensure required entries and pass documents are maintained as per Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Adhere to standards and maintain PPEs and consumables.
  • Train manpower to use related equipment for execution.

Objective Criteria:

  • Evaluate and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Optimize inventory management to minimize stock variances and optimize material flow.
  • Implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Develop and train staff to utilize materials handling equipment effectively.
