SAP FICO Consultant Role Overview

As a seasoned SAP FICO professional, you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining financial systems in various manufacturing environments.

This role requires strong technical expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA finance modules, as well as excellent problem-solving skills to resolve complex functional issues.

You will work closely with business users and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of manufacturing enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure financial system settings, including chart of accounts, fiscal year variants, posting periods, and currencies.
  • Mastery of financial transaction processing, including journal entries, recurring entries, and payment processing.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving financial system issues and errors.
  • Familiarity with data migration tools, such as LSMW, BAPIs, and IDOCs, used in FI data transfers.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements, including IFRS, GAAP, and tax laws relevant to FI configuration.
  • Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance features as FI evolves on the HANA platform.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 financial support focused on manufacturing.
  • Expertise in production costing, material ledger, product costing, and internal orders in manufacturing.

  • Problem-solving capability to quickly diagnose and fix functional issues.
  • Ability to document functional specs, configuration details, and user manuals.
  • Team collaboration and leadership for project coordination and mentoring.
