Job Title: Senior IC Design Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior IC Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the design group, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical designs that meet the required specifications and timelines.

  • You will lead the development of digital IC designs, including floorplanning, placement, routing, clock tree synthesis, and optimization.
  • Your expertise in Innovus, ICC2, and Fusion Compiler will enable us to achieve optimal results in place and route, timing closure, and physical design sign-off.
  • Experience with floorplanning, placement, routing, clock tree synthesis (CTS), and static timing analysis (STA) is essential for this role.
  • You will focus on power, performance, and area (PPA) optimization, ensuring that our designs meet the required standards.
  • Conducting DRC, LVS, and parasitic extraction will be an integral part of your responsibilities, guaranteeing clean designs.
  • Working with 7nm, 5nm, or lower process nodes requires specific skills and knowledge, which you must possess.
  • Collaboration with design, verification, and manufacturing teams is crucial for successful project execution.
  • You will drive the tape-out process and ensure high-quality designs, meeting all the necessary criteria.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 4 years of experience in physical design engineering.
  • Preferred: Experience with DFM, DFT, and advanced packaging technologies.
