Wind Energy Solutions Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our wind energy solutions team.

  • The ideal candidate will oversee technical and commercial aspects of onshore wind projects in India, ensuring optimal project design, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of bankable solutions to meet customer requirements.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of wind turbine technology, project development, grid integration, and related commercial aspects. They will also possess excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical and commercial problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead solution development for onshore wind projects, ensuring technical excellence, cost competitiveness, and customer alignment.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, sales, commercial, and operations) to design integrated project solutions.
  3. Provide technical leadership during bidding, contract negotiation, and project delivery phases.
  4. Support the Head of Solutions in defining long-term strategy, driving innovation, and aligning solutions with global best practices.
  5. Manage relationships with key customers, partners, suppliers, and consultants, ensuring delivery of value-added solutions.
  6. Oversee the preparation of technical proposals, risk assessments, and feasibility analyses.
  7. Mentor and guide a team of engineers and solution specialists, fostering a high-performance culture.
  8. Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to enhance positioning in India's wind sector.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Renewable Energy, or related field).
  • 15-20 years of experience in the onshore wind sector, with extensive exposure to solution design, project engineering, and delivery.
  • Proven track record in leading technical or solution teams for large-scale wind projects in India or internationally.
  • Strong knowledge of wind turbine technology, project development, grid integration, and related commercial aspects.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical and commercial problem solving.
  • Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
