Lead Treasury Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished and experienced Treasury Operations Manager to lead our India-based team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the India Treasury Ops Team, focusing on talent attraction, retention, and development.
  • Contribute strategically to the organizational delivery of building out the India team over the next few years.
  • Review and agree to ISDA, SIMM, and REPO margin calls, resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
  • Validate and agree payments associated with OTC transactions, investigating discrepancies and resolving them in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile T+1 OTC cash, trade, and position data daily to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Resolve position discrepancies versus executing and clearing brokers.
  • Book wires to instruct payments and receipts of cash to and from counterparts.
  • Monitor non-USD currency balances.
  • Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are followed in the processing of margin calls.

Requirements:

  • 16+ Years of experience is required.
  • Undergraduate Degree or above is preferred.
  • Past experience in OTC margin and/or operations teams is necessary.
  • Understanding of ISDA/REPO CSA agreements is essential.
  • Knowledge of uncleared margin rules and processes is vital.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure is mandatory.
  • Proactive desire to improve processes to drive efficiency and reduce risk is required.
  • Knowledge of OTC products in Rates, FX, Equity, and Commodity asset classes is important.
  • Understanding of swift payment instructions and mechanics is crucial.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills are vital.
  • Strong Excel knowledge (including macros/VBA) is essential.
