The role of the Financial Controller encompasses leading the Finance function for our upcoming hotel in India.

This position champions, develops and implements property-wide strategies to deliver products and services that meet or exceed customer needs and expectations.

Financial expertise is required to enable the successful implementation of brand service strategy and initiatives while maximizing return on investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develops means to improve profit, including estimating cost and benefit.
  • Analyzes information, forecasts sales against expenses and creates annual budget plans.
  • Compiles information, analyzes and monitors actual sales against projected sales.
  • Identifies underlying principles, reasons, or facts by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
  • Thinks creatively and practically to develop, execute and implement new business plans.

Leading Finance & Accounting Teams:

  • Leverages strong leadership and communication skills to influence executive teams and lead own team.
  • Oversees internal, external and regulatory audit processes.
  • Assigns team members clear accountability backed by appropriate authority.

Requirements:

  • CA/MBA/Masters degree with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 10+ years experience in accounting preferably with the hotel industry
