Job Description

Designation - MicroSoft Fabric Lead (Data & AI- Data)

Type of employment- Contract 6 months (Extendable)

Shift- IST

Location- Remote

Exp- 8+yrs

The job holder should have 9-12 years of experience, with 5+ years' experience in Azure Data Platform (ADF, Databricks, Synapse) and at least 1 year in MS Fabric (client implementation, not POC) projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Solution Architecture: Design and oversee the architecture of Microsoft Fabric solutions, including integration with Power BI, Synapse, Data Factory, and other Azure services.
  2. Leadership: Lead a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts in delivering scalable and secure data solutions.
  3. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and ensure timely delivery.
  4. Innovation: Stay up to date with Microsoft Fabric features, updates, and industry trends to recommend improvements.
  5. Data Strategy: Define and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage strategies leveraging Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, and Real-Time Analytics.
  6. Governance: Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks within Microsoft Fabric.
  7. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and cost efficiency.
  8. Proven experience in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake).
  9. Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.
