Job Description

Bunge is seeking a highly skilled Associate Manager to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team in Mohali, India.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling financial planning and analysis, including consolidation and analysis, forecasting and budgeting, variance analysis, and monthly financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides complex financial analysis for businesses, exercising a strong understanding of the business to help determine the best methods for achieving larger objectives.
  • Creates country-wise analysis of financial statements, derives, and shares EBIT value on a monthly basis.
  • Extracts financial/non-financial data from SAP, Tableau, BW, OneStream, and other tools, converting them into meaningful reports to aid in business decision-making.
  • Consolidates multiple input data files, tables, graphs, and schedules, converting them into a meaningful output document, providing commentaries on SGA cost.
  • Prepares on-demand/ad-hoc reports requested by business partners.
  • Performs first-level quality checks on deliverables in scope of work.
  • Consults with business partners to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope.
  • Supports business initiatives, leading analysts across multiple sub-functions within finance.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development, engaging in design.
  • Supports the business unit during cross-regional or cross-functional planning processes.
  • Creates PowerPoint presentations with necessary tables and graphs as management summaries.
  • Supports Lean/Six Initiatives and works on Continuous Improvement projects as required.

The key relationship is with all US counterparts, majorly with Protein head and corporate operations team.

Knowledge and Technical Competencies

Knowledge of SAP, OneStream, BW, and BI

Eye for details and ability to view financial statements from a Financial Controller's standpoint.

Ability to partner with key stakeholders to optimize processes across the domain.

Multitasking

Education/Experience

6+ years of work experience in a similar role

Experience in Agribusiness/Commodity trading industry preferred

Minimum Education Qualification – CA/CPA/CFA/ACCA/MBA (from Reputed Institute). Additional certification in US GAAP or IFRS will be an advantage. Experience of shared service organization.

Knowledge of BI (Business Intelligence) tools would be an added advantage.

Ability to partner with key stakeholders to optimize processes across the domain.

Ability to collaborate with the respective business/service functions supporting SSC vision and mission.

Strong written & oral communications skills in English. Knowledge of Asian or European languages added advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving & organization skills
