Job Description

The primary objective of the Technical Support Specialist is to ensure seamless functionality of access control and CCTV systems across offices globally. This role involves configuring, monitoring, and maintaining software and hardware for these systems.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Technical Product Support
    • Provide configuration support for access control and CCTV systems
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to access control CCTV systems and other security applications
    • Offer remote technical assistance to internal clients on system configuration
    • Identify and analyze system failures, providing support to on-site technicians for break-fix purposes
    • Track system issues through to resolution within agreed time limits
    • Evaluate unresolved issues and escalate them to appropriate internal teams
    • Document technical knowledge in dedicated files or a knowledge base
  • Application Server Support
    • Install and configure security system applications on servers
    • Monitor application services hosted on servers 24/7
    • Properly escalate unresolved issues to relevant internal teams
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Respond promptly and professionally to emergency service calls during and outside working hours
    • Collaborate with team members to establish best practices and make informed decisions
    • Work independently as required
    • Report to senior management to ensure satisfaction of work
    • Participate in departmental meetings
    Required Skills and Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or an equivalent field
    • Proficiency in software and hardware configurations for access control and CCTV systems
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
