Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in coordinating and overseeing the delivery of cargo to customers in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate shipments, ensuring they meet quality, timeline, and communication expectations.
  • Oversee compliance with regulations, including customs clearance, IATA, TSA, and other governing bodies.
  • Supervise shift managers and teams, reviewing performance metrics regularly.
  • Resolve operational issues, serving as the go-to person for troubleshooting.
  • Deliver feedback, training, and development sessions to build operational thinking and ownership mindset in the team.
  • Identify areas of inefficiency or data integrity issues, proposing automation, process improvements, and better controls.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with service providers.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with freight forwarding procedures and financials.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field (logistics, international trade preferred).
  • At least 5 years of industry experience, with a preference for freight forwarding.
  • 2+ years of team management experience, including managing team leads or shift managers.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, data integrity, and customer service mindset.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven individual with excellent people skills and business acumen.
  • Able to handle complex problems and multitask effectively.
