Global Supply Chain Expert

We are seeking an exceptional professional to lead our Emerging Markets team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide dedicated service to regional sales teams, ensuring timely issue resolution within a defined customer framework.
  • Validate demand over the horizon and prioritize orders/customers based on key parameters.
  • Evaluate plans by verifying demand with purchase orders, Letters of Credit, regulatory clearances, artwork details, SKU codes, and other customer-specific requirements.
  • Analyze order status in our systems to identify potential issues affecting defined timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information on scheduling, material receipt, and dispatch schedules.
  • Highlight potential issues impacting defined timelines and drive shipment planning with logistics teams to mitigate risks and delays.
  • Attend relevant meetings to gather data and information on open orders and their status updates.
  • Resolve issues such as artwork approval, batch size, minimum order quantity, etc. through effective communication and cross-functional meetings.
Supply Chain Technology and Automation:
  • Identify opportunities for implementing IT and automation in order management processes to enhance supply chain visibility.
  • Drive the implementation and rollout cycle for all IT and technology automations within SCM jointly with IT teams.
Requirements:
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and reporting (VBA macros, Power BI).
  • Good understanding and experience of supply chain essentials, preferably in the pharma industry.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and decision-making skills.
  • Negotiation skills and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and understand constraints.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills and oral/written communication skills.
