Job Title: Cybersecurity Expert

Job Description

The primary responsibility of a cybersecurity expert is to safeguard an organization's digital assets from malicious attacks and unauthorized access. This includes monitoring security alerts, conducting threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.

  • Monitor security alerts and incidents, responding promptly to potential threats.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Analyze security breaches to determine root cause and implement corrective actions.

Additional responsibilities include identifying, reviewing, prioritizing, planning, coordinating, and following up on the remediation of vulnerabilities. The cybersecurity expert must also manage security alerts raised by various tools and technologies, including endpoint security, network security, IDR, DLP, SIEM, etc.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with a specialization in cybersecurity.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a Security Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, systems, and methodologies.
  • Fundamental programming/scripting capabilities (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc).
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
