Job Description

As a seasoned IT professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our database infrastructure. This includes managing MySQL installations, configuring databases for optimal performance, and ensuring data integrity through regular backups and recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Administration: Manage database configurations, perform routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshoot issues related to database performance and security.
  • Database Health Monitoring: Continuously monitor database health, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures to prevent downtime.
  • Linux Server Management: Administer Linux servers, manage user access, and ensure system resource utilization is optimized.
  • Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement robust backup and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity in case of disasters.
  • Patching and Upgrades: Perform regular patching and upgrades to maintain database and server security and performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, providing root cause analysis (RCA) to stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on systems, processes, and knowledge base articles.
