Job Overview

We seek an experienced virtualization administrator to provide technical support for VMware infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide timely and effective troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to VMware configuration, performance, networking, and storage
  • Monitor and respond to alerts and notifications from VMware monitoring tools
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as patching and upgrading VMware software
  • Collaborate with resources to resolve issues and escalate complex problems as needed
  • Document knowledge and procedures in a knowledge management system
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24/7 support
Required Skills
  • Strong understanding of VMware architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with VMware troubleshooting tools, such as ESXi logs and vCenter performance charts
  • Strong understanding of Veeam Backup and Replication technologies
  • Experience with SAN/NAS Storage infra configuration
  • Strong understanding of HCI technologies
  • Experience with Cisco Intersight, UCS Manager
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with other virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, KVM)
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms
  • Experience with IT service management frameworks
