Job Title:

Strategic Communications Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our communications strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to enhance organisational visibility and credibility.
  • Collaborate with programme teams to disseminate key information and findings with relevant audiences.
Content Creation:

In collaboration with the programme teams, create engaging content for various platforms, including articles, press releases, conference participation, blog posts, programme videos, and social media.

Media Relations:

Buid and maintain relationships with key media houses and journalists, pitch stories and secure coverage in relevant magazines, newspapers, and online publications.

Publication Management:

Research and identify suitable platforms for publishing articles and reports, coordinate the publication of thought leadership pieces in industry-relevant magazines and newspapers.

Brand Messaging:

Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels, craft and maintain a strong and authentic voice for the organisation.

Public Relations:

Develop and execute PR strategies to increase organisational visibility, prepare executives for media interviews and speaking engagements.

Social Media Management:

Oversee the creation and distribution of content across our social media platforms, monitor social media trends and engage with the online community.

Analytics and Reporting:

Track and analyse the performance of communication initiatives, use data to refine communication strategies and make informed decisions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, proven experience of minimum 5 years in a similar role with a track record of successful media placements, exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Hindi and English.

Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, proficiency in using communication tools, including social media management platforms, an understanding of impact consulting and a passion for contributing to positive change, creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
