Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled VOS Engineering professional to support our Persistent Sensing Team at Emerson. This role will involve creating General Arrangement Drawings and Bill of Materials for our VOS ETO India business. You will work closely with the team to review requirements, specifications, and detailed design drawings, ensuring high-quality design in accordance with our Quality system.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Participate in handover meetings with sales and project management teams to discuss project requirements and deviations.
  • Create wiring, schematic, and general arrangement drawings in accordance with project specifications and engineering guidelines.
  • Develop manufacturing designs and bill of materials in ERP.
  • Update metrics and weekly reports.
  • Organize documents using Windchill or Team Center.
  • Investigate and resolve operational problems from an engineering perspective.

You are a motivated individual with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm. You effectively communicate with diverse groups of people and possess the ability to manage priorities and complete work on time.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in CAD tools.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage job flow and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools to create drawings based on standards and maintain drawing databases.
  • Good engineering knowledge to apply concepts in valve operating system engineering.
  • Excellent planning and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in solid edge, Creo, or other equivalent CAD tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with ERP tools.
