Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled design professional to join our VOS Engineering Team as a Senior Design Engineer. This role will involve developing General Arrangement Drawings and Bill of Materials for Emerson's VOS Europe business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, specifications, and detailed design drawings.
  • Collaborate with internal customers, such as the sales team and project managers, to understand project schedule and scope requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality design in accordance with our Quality system.
  • Ensure Engineering deliverables are prepared with due diligence and appropriate consideration of customer requirements.
  • Work closely with the team to develop project timelines, identify risks, and take appropriate action to reduce them.
  • Create and verify manufacturing designs and the bill of materials.
  • Submit regular metrics and weekly reports.
  • Organize documents using Windchill or Team Center or Enovia.
  • Investigate and resolve operational problems from an engineering perspective.
  • Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and work towards company goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum years' experience in CAD tool.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage the flow of job, prioritize tasks, and complete work on time.
  • Proficiency in CAD tool to create drawings based on standards and maintain the Drawing Database.
  • Good engineering knowledge to apply concepts in Valve operating system Engineering.
  • Ability to plan, delegate, and mentor a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in mechanical Engineering or any related field.
  • Proficiency in solid edge, Creo, or any other equivalent CAD Tool.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in working with ERP Tools.
