About the Role

As a Senior Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive supply chain plans that meet customer demands and operational targets. Your primary focus will be on managing stock movements across the distribution network, ensuring that stock availability is maximized and obsolescence is minimized.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, Logistics, and Finance, to ensure seamless execution of planning activities.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in supply chain planning, with a strong background in demand forecasting, supply planning, and DRP. Proficiency in ERP systems, such as SAP APO or Oracle, is highly desirable. Additionally, expertise in raw material planning, manufacturing planning, and inventory management would be beneficial.

  • Lead end-to-end planning processes, including demand forecasting, supply planning, and distribution requirements planning (DRP).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies.
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts and sales data to inform planning decisions.
  • Manage inventory levels and optimize stock movements across the distribution network.
  • Supervise and improve KPIs related to forecast accuracy, inventory health, service levels, and distribution efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in high-frequency environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, such as SAP APO or Oracle, is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in raw material planning, manufacturing planning, and inventory management is beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment with a proactive approach.
  • Experience working with diverse teams across different geographies is an advantage.
