Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Neurological Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurology and be able to diagnose complex medical problems, counsel patients on neurological disorders, and prescribe treatment and medication.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior neurological specialist to work with us. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with neurological conditions, counseling patients on their diagnosis and treatment options, and working with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Diagnose and treat patients with neurological conditions, including conducting neurological tests and interpreting the results of neuroimaging studies.
  2. Counsel patients on their diagnosis and treatment options, including explaining the risks and benefits of different treatments.
  3. Prescribe and administer treatment and medication as needed, including monitoring the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medication.
  4. Work with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients, including ordering supportive care services and participating in neuroscience research activities.
  5. Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  1. A strong background in neurology, including a degree in medicine and significant postgraduate training in neurology.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate complex medical information to patients and other healthcare professionals.
  3. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, including collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Work Location
