Senior User Interface Designer Job Description

We are seeking a Senior User Interface Designer to lead the visual and interaction design of elegant, scalable, and user-centered digital experiences. This role requires a deep understanding of human-computer interaction, user experience principles, and design systems.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Main Responsibilities: Design responsive, accessible, and visually compelling user interfaces for customer web and mobile applications.
  • Main Responsibilities: Translate wireframes, user flows, and strategic insights into high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes.
  • Main Responsibilities: Ensure designs are pixel-perfect, intuitive, and grounded in real user behaviors and expectations.

Design Systems & Scalability
  • Main Responsibilities: Contribute to and help evolve design systems, components, and visual standards to ensure consistency across experiences and teams.
  • Main Responsibilities: Define and maintain design tokens and primitives (e.g., color, typography, spacing, elevation) as the foundation for scalable, consistent UI across platforms.
  • Main Responsibilities: Ensure the design system is token-driven, enabling easy theming, accessibility, and cross-platform implementation.
  • Main Responsibilities: Collaborate with developers to implement and QA UI designs with precision, ensuring the final product meets design intent.
  • Main Responsibilities: Advocate for UI consistency, performance, and scalability across platforms and touchpoints.

Collaboration & Craft
  • Main Responsibilities: Partner closely with UX designers, researchers, content designers, and engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Main Responsibilities: Participate in user testing and feedback sessions to refine and improve UI design.
  • Main Responsibilities: Present design concepts to stakeholders, clearly articulating the rationale behind visual and interaction decisions.

Customer-Centered & Future-Ready Design
  • Main Responsibilities: Design experiences that are both beautiful and functional—delivering clarity, delight, and confidence at every step of the user journey.
  • Main Responsibilities: Support the creation of dynamic, intelligent interfaces that respond to user data and preferences—especially in AI-enabled product environments.
  • Main Responsibilities: Incorporate accessibility best practices and inclusive design into every interface and component.

Qualifications
  1. 5–7 years of experience in UI, visual, or product design, with a strong portfolio of customer-facing digital products.
  2. Expertise in modern UI design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Framer) and interaction prototyping.
  3. Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and design for mobile-first environments.
  4. Strong eye for layout, hierarchy, typography, color, and motion in the context of interaction design.
  5. Experience collaborating in cross-functional product teams and agile development environments.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience working on enterprise-scale platforms or high-volume digital customer experiences.
  2. Familiarity with front-end development practices (HTML/CSS/React) or close collaboration with dev teams.
  3. Exposure to designing for AI-driven or personalized user interfaces.
  4. Background in branding, animation, or motion design is a plus.
