Senior Observability Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the design and implementation of scalable observability platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building robust monitoring solutions, driving adoption of APM tooling, and embedding synthetic monitoring into modern service architectures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure and resilient synthetic monitoring platforms across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
  • Lead the adoption of Dynatrace APM with standardized instrumentation and deployment models.
  • Develop strategies for integrating cloud, hybrid, and edge telemetry sources with a focus on synthetic monitoring.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and develop custom monitoring solutions where needed.
  • Contribute to open-source or internal observability tooling/standards for monitoring.
  • Drive documentation, training, and knowledge sharing to strengthen monitoring practices.
  • Collaborate with application teams to embed monitoring into new service architectures.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace and Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring tools is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
