About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Design Engineer to join our team at Kushi Civil Structural consultancy Pvt Ltd. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HVAC design, with experience in performing load calculations, equipment selection, duct and piping design, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed designs for heating, ventilation, and air distribution systems.
  • Perform heat and cooling load calculations, as well as airflow analysis using specialized software.
  • Select and size HVAC equipment based on project requirements, considering factors such as energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Design ductwork, piping layouts, and control systems using industry-standard tools.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, including ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and local building codes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including MEP engineers, architects, and contractors, to integrate HVAC systems into larger building projects.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and design documentation for project approvals.
  • Support project execution by providing expert technical guidance during installation and commissioning.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.
  • Proficiency in HVAC design software (HAP, Trace 700, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Carrier E-20).
  • Strong understanding of duct and pipe sizing, psychrometrics, and refrigeration cycles.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, including ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and others.
  • Experience in energy modeling and sustainable HVAC system design.
