Business Insights Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our analytics team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in programming, statistical modelling, and data visualization to extract valuable insights from complex datasets, build predictive models, and enable data-driven decision-making.

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python programming languages.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
  • Perform data segmentation, clustering, and predictive modelling to identify trends and business opportunities.
  • Evaluate model performance using appropriate statistical and ML metrics to ensure reliability and accuracy.
  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards for monitoring model performance and sharing insights with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Ensure high data accuracy through validation and anomaly checks.
  • Continuously explore opportunities to improve data processes and analytics frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. They will be proficient in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels) for data manipulation and modelling, and have advanced SQL skills for complex data extraction and transformation. Experience with machine learning techniques is preferred, as well as a strong understanding of model evaluation metrics and hands-on experience with data visualisation tools.
