Ruby on Rails Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Ruby on Rails developer to fill a key role in our organization. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of professional experience in full-stack development with Ruby on Rails.

  • Technical Skills and Qualifications:
    • Proficiency in React.js (v18+) including state management (Redux, Context API), component architecture, and performance optimization.
      • Experience in RESTful API design and development; GraphQL is an asset.
        • Familiarity with modern frontend build tools: Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn, and package management.
          • Database design and optimization using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
            • Version control using Git and collaboration platforms (GitHub, GitLab).
              • Aptitude for Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
                • Knowledge of testing frameworks: RSpec, Minitest (backend), Jest, Cypress (frontend).
                  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and deployment practices (Docker, CI/CD).

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and efficient web applications using Ruby on Rails.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  3. Implement automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  4. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the development process.
