This team charter is focused on maximizing merchant and customer engagement with PayPal following new payment or promise of payments. We work around the clock to enhance, speed up and scale our services for effective customer retention.

Your Impact

You will design, develop and optimize core systems powering millions of transactions daily, delivering innovative solutions that delight customers and drive business success.

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Design and architect complex mobile features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Architect and develop scalable mobile applications.
  • Optimize app performance and user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
What You Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in mobile app development.
  • Strong Swift/Objective-C (iOS) proficiency.
  • Experience in multi-threaded, asynchronous code.
  • Experience with animation and implementing user interface designs.
  • Experience in design patterns such as MVC and MVVM.
  • Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL databases) and ORM frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for individuals with:

  • Master's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Experience with cross-platform development frameworks.
  • Understanding of Swift and Objective-C.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms.
  • Experience with mobile payment technologies and integrations.
