Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our mobile development team. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile development, with experience working on iOS and Android platforms. They will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing new features and re-architecting existing ones to improve performance and user experience.
  • Collaborating with other engineers to develop and improve services used by hundreds of millions of people.
  • Listening to customer feedback and using insights to build high-quality services that people love to use.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 12+ years of professional experience with at least one of iOS/Android mobile development using objective-C, Swift, Kotlin, or Java.
  • Experience with designs, architecture, and implementations that allow large codebases and teams to scale.
  • Android/iOS development experience is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in CS or related engineering field.

Preferred:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to be adaptable and agile in development.
  • Experience driving efforts across product groups and business units.
  • Exposure to networking and streaming protocols such as HTTPS, TCP/IP, DASH/HLS.
  • Demonstrated passion for building great end-user experiences.
