Job Description">

We are seeking a highly skilled Sensor and Machine Vision Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in sensors, automation, or machine vision and be knowledgeable in laser triangulation, ultrasonic NDT, or machine vision systems.

Responsibilities include designing practical mechanical setups, prototyping with laser line profilers, displacement sensors, ultrasonic probes, and cameras, and supporting integration with DAQ tools, PLCs, and basic OpenCV scripts.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be comfortable working in high-heat/industrial environments, and have a willingness to get hands dirty. Flexibility to travel for deployments is also required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in sensors, automation, or machine vision
  • Knowledge of laser triangulation, ultrasonic NDT, or machine vision systems
  • Ability to design practical mechanical setups (mounts, fixtures, enclosures)
  • Comfortable with Python/OpenCV/DAQ basics and PLC connections
  • Willingness to work in high-heat/industrial environments
  • Flexibility to travel for deployments
