Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Quality Control Specialist to oversee the quality of MEP installations across our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect installation of HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing, fire-fighting networks, and other MEP services on site.
  • Verify testing and commissioning of MEP systems in accordance with project specifications, IS codes, and safety standards.
  • Ensure proper execution of cable routing, pipe sizing, insulation, earthing, and other critical installation elements.
  • Validate materials against approved technical submittals and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate with contractors and consultants for inspection requests (RFIs) and obtain timely approvals.
  • Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Support internal audits and third-party inspections; ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Train site teams and subcontractors on QA/QC procedures, codes, and project specifications.
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of IS codes, NBC guidelines, and MEP installation standards.
  • Familiarity with QA/QC documentation including MIR, WIR, NCR, checklists, and RFIs.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret MEP and civil drawings, layouts, and specifications.
  • Hands-on experience in field inspections, lab testing, and commissioning processes.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in large-scale construction projects.
  • Exposure to infrastructure projects like hospitals, hotels, malls, and industrial setups.
  • Previous roles in MEP contracting companies or project management consultancies (PMC).
