Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Internal Auditor with a strong background in Accounting, Taxation, Internal Audit, Legal, and Secretarial Compliance. This role is critical for ensuring our adherence to RBI regulations, statutory requirements, and internal controls.

The successful candidate will lead audit functions, assess risk, and support strategic compliance initiatives across the organization. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting in-depth financial audits in alignment with Ind AS standards by reviewing financial statements, ledgers, and processes for compliance and accuracy.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of the annual audit plan.
  • Ensuring compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations by coordinating with tax advisors for the preparation of tax returns and support during audits.
  • Monitoring legal and regulatory updates, particularly those issued by the RBI, to ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, the Companies Act, and secretarial standards.
  • Reviewing legal documents and contracts for adherence to applicable regulations.
  • Leading and executing audits across accounting, taxation, and legal domains by identifying compliance risks, collaborating with teams for mitigation, and driving the implementation of corrective actions based on audit findings.
  • Preparing and submitting accurate regulatory reports to the RBI and other authorities while maintaining audit-ready documentation and records.
  • Conducting risk assessments across key compliance areas and implementing risk mitigation strategies in accordance with RBI norms.
  • Maintaining organized records for all financial, legal, and secretarial compliance to ensure readiness for audits and inspections.
