Lead the Way in IB PYP Coordination

We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to take on a pivotal role within our educational institution. As the IB PYP Coordinator, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our Primary Years Programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Enhancement: Develop and review curriculum materials that align with IB guidelines, ensuring high-quality education for our students.
  • Teacher Support: Collaborate with teachers to foster a culture of inquiry and reflection, providing them with the necessary tools to excel in their roles.
  • Professional Growth: Organize and lead professional development workshops and training sessions, empowering staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with parents and the wider community to promote understanding and support for the IB framework.
  • Assessment Coordination: Coordinate student assessments and maintain records in accordance with IB standards.
  • IB Updates: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and changes within the IB organization to ensure our school's continued adherence to its standards.
Qualifications:
  • Education Requirement: A Master's Degree or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is essential.
  • IB Certification: Holding an IB PYP Coordinator certification or undergoing training is mandatory.
  • Experience: We require a minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching, with a strong understanding of the IB framework and the PYP.
  • Skill Requirements: Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role.
  • Teamwork Ability: The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team-oriented environment is vital.
