Job Title:

Financial Operations Specialist

Position Summary

The successful candidate will work closely with the team to ensure efficient execution of back-office and fund-related processes. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, organization, and the ability to work under strict timelines in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle end-to-end Portfolio Management Services (PMS) activities, including daily NAV computation, unit reconciliation, expense allocation, trade execution and reconciliation, and maintaining third-party portfolio management software and internal Excel-based records.
  • Liaise with brokers and custodians to address and resolve trade-related discrepancies and coordinate fund flows and investment processes related to third-party products.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports, perform monthly reconciliation of management fees and operational expenses, and conduct daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliation of client accounts.
  • Assist in tax computation and reporting for overseas clients and conduct quarterly portfolio performance and attribution analysis.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: M. Com / CA / CA Drop Out / MBA Finance
  • Experience: 2–5 years in operations at a financial institution (PMS, AMC, bank, custodian, or broker)
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills – mandatory; working knowledge of financial reporting and portfolio management tools
  • Soft Skills: High attention to detail and accuracy, strong analytical and organizational capabilities, good written and verbal communication skills
