**System Engineer Position Overview**

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of System Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Windows-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and manage Windows-based systems and servers.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Ensure system security and data integrity by applying best practices and updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
  • Provide technical support to users and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • 4-8 years of experience in system engineering, specifically with WINTEL environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory management.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions and methodologies.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
