About the Role

This position involves executing new Workday implementations and replacing legacy systems for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain various types of Workday integrations using tools like Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and Workday Studio.
  • Build and modify custom reports using Report Writer, calculated fields, and Workday Prism Analytics.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Conduct data conversions and migrations from legacy systems into Workday.
  • Manage and troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for technical designs, configurations, and integrations.
  • Partner with clients and third-party vendors to ensure smooth data flow and successful implementation.
  • Stay current with new Workday features and technical capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-6 years of professional experience in a Workday-specific technical role.
  • Workday Implementation: A minimum of two full-cycle Workday implementation projects with a focus on technical delivery.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors. Proficiency in Workday Report Writer and calculated fields is also required.
  • Certifications: Must hold Workday HCM and Integration certifications. Additional certifications in modules like Payroll or Prism Analytics are beneficial.
  • Integration Protocols: Strong understanding of integration protocols and formats such as SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, SFTP, and PGP encryption.
  • HR Acumen: A solid understanding of HR processes to design effective technical solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
