We are seeking a seasoned software professional to spearhead the development of cutting-edge storage, filesystem, and virtualization features on Linux using C/C++.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Linux kernel modules and system internals, as well as expertise in storage, filesystem, or virtualization development.

Additionally, they should possess a solid understanding of OS internals (filesystems, I/O, device drivers, memory management) and be proficient in POSIX APIs and Linux system calls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance storage, filesystem, and virtualization features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and resolve technical challenges.
  • Work closely with colleagues to deliver innovative solutions that meet our customers' needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in storage, filesystem, and virtualization technologies.

Requirements

  • Expertise in C/C++ programming.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux kernel development.
  • Strong understanding of storage, filesystem, or virtualization concepts.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills (GDB, strace, perf, fio, iostat, blktrace).
  • Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions.
