Placement Strategist

We are seeking a Placement Strategist to join our team at Medhavi Skills University. This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure employment and experiential opportunities for students across various programs.

The Placement Strategist will be responsible for:

• Counseling and preparing students for job placements, focusing on enhancing their hiring potential;
• Developing and maintaining relationships with corporate clients to secure placement opportunities;
• Organizing summer and winter internships in top companies to increase conversion rates into final placements;
• Collecting job announcements and sharing them with students in a timely manner;
• Providing career guidance to students to ensure job acceptance rates increase;

Responsibilities

• To ensure that pre-placement offers are instituted and systemized by increasing the highest package and PPO Companies;
• To improve the quality of placements in terms of job opportunities, quality of companies that visit the campus, and increase average salaries year on year;
• To organize seminars and pep talks by inviting industry veterans;
• To plan, monitor, and execute skill training for various schools;
• To arrange industry visits, guest lectures, and on-job training for the students' community;

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills;
• High Integrity;
• 24/7 availability for important projects;
• Knowledge of industry demographics will be an added advantage;
• Able to handle requirements of Engineering, Commerce, Management, Sciences, Humanities, and Legal studies;
• Willingness to travel as per professional requirements;

What We Offer

Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, along with benefits as per University policies. Estimated salary range: ₹80,000 - ₹1,20,000 per month based on location (Singtam Campus, Sikkim).
