Key Responsibilities

This part-time on-site role involves developing and implementing an art curriculum that encourages exploration, creativity, self-expression and experimentation through diverse artistic media.

  • Design and maintain the atelier (art studio) as a welcoming and inspiring space with thoughtfully curated materials.
  • Collaborate closely with educators to integrate artistic expression into ongoing projects and inquiries.
  • Document children's creative processes and outcomes to make learning visible for children, educators and families.
  • Plan and support school events, ensuring art is meaningfully woven into celebrations and community experiences.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in planning and conducting art experiences with children.
  • Good creativity and artistic skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with educators and children.
  • Ability to create a nurturing and supportive environment for children.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic setting.
