Job Title: Data Architect

A career opportunity exists for an experienced data architect to design and implement scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that support real-time and batch data processing.

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with expertise in designing, building, and maintaining robust data architectures and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality data systems that power analytics, insights, and data-driven decision-making.

In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with analytics and engineering teams to understand data needs and ensuring data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and governance.

You will also be responsible for optimizing performance of data systems, queries, and storage solutions, as well as implementing data quality monitoring and alerting systems.

To succeed in this position, you will need strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, as well as proficiency in SQL and experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.

Familiarity with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or Flink, as well as cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure, is also essential.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL workflows
  2. Build and manage scalable data architectures and cloud-based infrastructure
  3. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and governance
  4. Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to understand data needs
  5. Optimize performance of data systems, queries, and storage solutions
  6. Implement data quality monitoring and alerting systems
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data infrastructure role
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
  • Proficient in SQL and experienced with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases
  • Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or Flink
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
