Data Governance and Risk Management Specialist

About the Opportunity
">This Data Governance and Risk Management Specialist Analyst role plays a vital part in safeguarding Goldman Sachs' assets and reputation by ensuring accurate and compliant data management practices. As a key member of the Asset Wealth Management (AWM) Operations team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough Quality Assurance (QA) checks on end-to-end Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews for various entities across Asia, EMEA, and the US.

- Conduct QA checks on completed KYC files to ensure adherence to established quality frameworks and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).">
- Verify client data, including documentary and non-documentary verification, as per the Client Identification Program (CIP) policy and requirements.">
- Review ownership unwrapping and drill-downs, as well as related parties such as directors, authorized signatories/traders, and corporate officers.">
- Maintain awareness of regulatory updates and incorporate process changes into the KYC review process.">
- Complete QA reviews in a timely manner, maintaining the highest quality standards.">
- Resolve issues through coordination with PWM CIM Operations, Compliance, and PWM Management.">
- Develop strategic automated solutions to manual processes.">
About You
">We seek an experienced professional with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in KYC/AML/CDD - QA/QC/Client Onboarding/Periodic Review in other banks/KPOs. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills, attention to detail, and a risk-focused mindset. A deep understanding of the client lifecycle process and various account structures is also essential.

">This role offers an estimated salary of $90,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
