Job Title: Assistant Manager - Business Finance

This role involves preparing, analyzing and controlling plant profit & loss statements, variance reports and cost reduction initiatives.

The ideal candidate will drive monthly and annual financial closures in line with corporate objectives.

We are looking for a professional who can handle product costing (BOM-based), COGS/COGM, standard vs actual cost analysis.

Owning capex, RM and opex budgeting, forecasting and reporting is also a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities include driving value engineering and cost optimization, as well as material accounting.

The successful candidate will monitor and control plant inventory (RM, WIP, FG, spares) and implement inventory reduction strategies.

Driving SAP-based reporting, automation and controls (FICO/MM/SD modules) is another key responsibility.

Process improvement opportunities will be identified and the successful candidate will lead automation and efficiency projects.

Collaboration with Production, Quality, SCM, HR and Engineering teams is essential.

Finance inputs will be provided for new product launches, capex proposals and vendor selection.

A strong knowledge of product costing, plant accounting and MIS is required.

Experience in SAP (FICO/MM) and Microsoft Excel is necessary, along with expertise in financial dashboards.

The ideal candidate should have experience working in a multi-plant, high-speed manufacturing setup.

Strong business acumen, analytical mindset and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualification requirements include CA/CMA with 1-6 years of experience.
