As a seasoned Learning and Development professional, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver innovative training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge.
You will collaborate with subject matter specialists and project teams to strategize effective ways to locate, assess, educate, and train employees in line with market developments and firm strategy. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our organization.
Key responsibilities include: Analyzing and identifying linkages and interactions between component parts of an entire system; taking ownership of projects to ensure successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion; partnering with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables; developing skills outside your comfort zone and encouraging others to do the same; mentoring others effectively and using review of work as an opportunity to deepen the expertise of team members.
Requirements:
- 9-14 years of experience
- Thorough knowledge and/or proven record of success in adult learning theory, digital production processes, learning responsive design, and various learning environments
- Possessing knowledge of digital learning platforms, designing, leading major educational technologies, including mobile, micro, nano-learning, simulations, branching e-learning, videos, animations, electronic performance support, and applicable development timelines
- Demonstrating experience in use of development tools, such as Gomo, Storyline, Adobe CC, video, audio production, editing
- Understanding 503/508 Compliance and regulatory requirements, digital design for all modes of learning, application to delivery formats, including those applicable to Quality Assurance Standards, self-studies, nano-learns, hybrid learning
- Maintaining knowledge of current and emerging accessibility trends, WCAG 2.0 AA requirements, and experience designing, developing digital content for people with disabilities
