Job Title: Architectural Leader

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned architect with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive project plans. This individual should possess excellent communication skills, enabling them to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, builders, and technicians.

  • Lead architectural teams in designing and implementing projects from start to finish.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring timely completion within allocated funds.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements and preferences, incorporating these into project designs.
  • Supervise junior architects, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, identifying areas for improvement and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Prepare and present project briefs to clients, highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Manage the permitting process, responding to comments and requests from authorities as required.
  • Oversee the production of construction documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines, including engineers and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Participate in quality assurance/quality control review sessions at project milestones, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Compile and submit project documentation to authorities, tracking submissions and responding to comments as necessary.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Management: Lead architectural teams in designing and implementing projects from start to finish.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Design and Development: Create innovative and functional designs that meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards through regular quality control checks.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in architectural leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in REVIT and SketchUp.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and industry regulations.
